Not at all like Star Trek or Star Wars... No weird
aliens here! Ultimate Destiny's Author, Paul Harrington delves into the
faster than light travel, and how it could be theoretically possible. There
are ruthless corporations out to steal the lightspeed project, who will stop
at nothing to cheat one man out of his dream... Faster than light travel.
It's a little slow to get going, but after a few chapters you'll be right
into the action... Assination attempts, space battle, espionage, and of
course some romance too! Plot moves quickly with a lot of action. I liked it
quite a bit.
I thought the book had a good story line. There is a lot of action in the
last third of the book. I found it hard to put down while reading the last
100 pages. The story reminded me in some ways of a good Star Trek episode.
There is some technical language in the book that may be a little hard to
follow but there is a glossery of terms in the book that makes things easier
to follow. I found it interesting and would recommend it as good reading. I
am looking forward to reading the next in the series.

I've finished reading the copy of "Light Speed", and I was
impressed. A great
sci-fi setting! My opinion of "Light Speed" is that it is a very
well put together story, with memorable characters, and a memorable plot and
subject matter. Thank you for
letting me read it, and I look forward to reading "Struggle for the
Stars".
Light Speed Ultimate Destiny is a compelling read! It kept me wanting
more after each chapter.
I was even late to work once because I couldn't put it down.
Light Speed is a fast paced look at space travel the way it might be with
the drama of mega corps. viaing for power. Go get'um John Burke!!
I highly recommend the story! When is the next book coming out??
